"The First Living Tabernacle"

Going to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament to literally spend time with Jesus in the consecrated bread and ponder and contemplate this reality is so beautiful to witness the many forms and ways Jesus comes to us, and that we go to Him. I created Mary the “First Living Tabernacle” as a visual depiction of Jesus so literally in Mary, and how we must follow her to Christ to be Living Tabernacles to carry Christ in us, through surrendering our wills to God’s perfect will, and allowing Him to reside in us and with us as each one of us are capable of being a church, a “temple”, in housing Him within us.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;you were bought at a price. (The price of Jesus suffering and dying on the cross so that we may have the opportunity for Heaven through the forgiveness of sins to others and our own) Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Luke 1 “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.

Luke 1 “The angel told her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary. You have found favor  with God. You will become pregnant, give birth to a son, and name him Jesus. He will be a great man and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.Your son will be king of Jacob’s people forever, and his kingdom will never end.”Mary asked the angel, “How can this be? I’m a virgin.” The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come to you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy child developing inside you will be called the Son of God.”

I have hundreds and hundreds of paintings. This website reflects a small fraction of my paintings. For information on a custom painting, obtaining custom size professional prints or canvas prints, please contact me. Thank you.

The greatest thing we can do is to live for God, in this we know what it takes to please Him. We cannot please everyone, nor should we try because that is impossible, however it is possible to please God in all that we do, and through that we find the ultimate fulfillment through His love, the peace that He gives us, and the joy we feel from that union and knowledge. True happiness comes from doing what makes us holy, not momentarily happy. We think of the end means, not the beginning or momentary pleasures, but the eternal pleasure of heaven.  We must die to the momentary pleasures of the world so that we may live for the eternal and true pleasures through heaven.

"The Living Bread from Heaven"

John 6:51 “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
